Want to add some zip to your blog? Try this!

South façade of the White House, the executive...Image via WikipediaWhile at the CrushIQ conference in Washington, DC I sat in on a session with @tdizdarevic from Zemanta. He was giving an overview and update on their blogging tool. Since this is a blogging tool that I find indispensable for writing my blog posts, I was looking forward to learning some tips and tricks for using Zemanta.
After Tin's brief overview of the product, I asked about placement of pictures in blog posts. This has been my one main frustrations with Zemanta. When trying to add an image to blog posts, it was forcing me to place them in a certain location. And, when I tried to add multiple images, it always posted the new image at the top.
It turns out that they are releasing a new version of Zemanta that will allow you to place images wherever your cursor is located in the post. It will also allow you to add multiple images without placing them on top of each other. A big improvement!
Zemanta will integrate with just about any blogging platform via just about any web browser. It is great for helping make sure you get the most from your blog posts by suggesting images, related articles, and tags. Give it a try. I think you'll find it a great blogging buddy.
That's My 2 Cents. What do you think? Are there any tools or resources that you use to enhance your blog posts? What are they?
